Rabbit and guinea pig boarding and care

At Leestock Cattery all rabbits and guinea pigs have individual sleeping areas with access to external covered runs.

You can be safe in the knowledge that your pet will be well cared for in a safe environment with daily fresh water and food appropriate to your pet.

Food provided for rabbits and guinea pigs:

  • Hay
  • Forage
  • Fresh vegetables
  • Fresh fruits
  • Pellets for guinea pigs
  • Flakes or pellets for rabbits

Other small animals are welcome at our cattery:

  • Chincillas
  • Ferrets
  • Mice
  • Rats


We do ask that their own food is provided together with their own cages. Unfortunately we do not have facilities for birds, fish or reptiles.

All rabbits must be innoculated against:

  • Myxomatosis
  • Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD)


A current vaccination certificate must be produced for inspection before any rabbit is accepted for boarding.
